WILLEMSTAD – Last Friday, December 18th the staff of Floris Suite Hotel has voted with a large majority for HIWA (Hotel Independent Workers Association) as their new union.

The democratic process took place in The White Room at Floris Suite Hotel. All permanently employed staff was invited to let their vote be counted.

With the inauguration of the new union HIWA, HORECAF disappeared from the scene and will no longer act on behalf of the staff of Floris Suite Hotel. The staff is delighted with the outcome and management of the hotel is looking forward to work with HIWA.
