On Friday, 19th December His Excellency Eugene Holiday (centre), Governor of Sint Maarten swore in the six persons that will take up Ministerial posts in the new government. Veteran politician Marcel Gumbs (front left) has taken up the post of Prime Minister, the second- and first male- to do some in our young history.
The Honourable Prime Minister Gumbs, who will also serve ad-interm Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure is joined by The Honourable Dennis Richardson (front right), Minister of Justice and ad interim Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labour; The Honourable Martinus Hassink (back left), Minister of Finance; The Honourable Rita Bourne-Gumbs (back right) , Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports;The Honourable Claret Connor (back far left), Minister of Tourism Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication; and The Honourable Josiane Fleming-Artsen (back far right), Minister Plenipotentiary.
