Food, water distribution schedule for today | Daily Herald

The Food and Water Distribution Team will continue to give out food and water to residents in some districts today Saturday, September 16.

At around 10:00am the team will be in the Simpson Bay Village at the Allan Halley Community Center;

at around 10:30am the team will serve the St. Johns and Saunders villages at the Methodist Agogic Center (MAC);

at around 12:00pm they will be in Betty’s Estate;

at around 12:30pm, they will be in Mary’s Fancy at the Jose Lake Senior Ball Park;

at around 1:00pm they will be in Beacon Hill at the open area next to Beach Comber Villas

and at 3:00pm they will be in the Cupecoy Area next to American University of the Caribbean (AUC) School of Medicine.

The team is urging persons to walk with suitable bags and clean containers to receive the food and water.

For persons who may have difficulty reaching the distribution points, smaller groups of persons will be targeting specific areas throughout the districts to get the food and water supplies to those in need.

Persons who would like to volunteer can join the working teams when the convoy reaches their respective districs.

The team said updates will be given daily on the locations where they will be located.
