The party has faced criticism for its handling of the economy, with shortages and rampant inflation hitting its popularity among voters, but he says Venezuela is the target of an international campaign to undermine the economy: “Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, but its international credit worthiness is worse than that of countries at war.”
