WILLEMSTAD – Refineria di Kòrsou (RdK) has addressed recent media reports suggesting ongoing negotiations with one of the three parties that participated in the final round of selecting a strategic partner.
RdK categorically denies these claims and clarifies the current status of the process.
RdK officially informed all three parties that submitted binding proposals during the rigorous selection process for a strategic partner responsible for the management and operation of the refinery and Bullenbaai. RdK confirmed that the process with these parties has concluded, and as a result, no further discussions or negotiations have taken place.
In the meantime, RdK has embarked on a new and expedited headhunting process to identify a suitable partner for the management and operation of the refinery and Bullenbaai. The objective remains unchanged: to expedite the refinery’s reopening in accordance with the government’s mandate.
RdK is committed to keeping the community informed about the ongoing accelerated search process. Updates will be provided as developments unfold, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the process.
RdK urges the public to rely on official statements and announcements to obtain accurate information about the search for a strategic partner.
