
ST. EUSTATIUS–Colombian national J.C.S.S., born in 1978, was presented Tuesday before an Investigating Judge on St. Eustatius. He is suspected of the homicide of his female partner in the early hours of Sunday, June 25, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
The victim, who is also from Colombia, was found dead Sunday at 1:00am in their home in the area of Concordia.
The suspect, who was also injured, is no longer at Queen Beatrix Medical Centre. He was removed from the Centre and transferred to a holding cell at the Police Station.
The investigations into the homicide are codenamed “Misty,” the Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.
The Chief of Basic Police Care on St. Eustatius said the Police would not disclose any information about the victim until the family was notified.
