‘I’m satisfied with everything I’ve done for Curaçao, I’m resigning’
WILLEMSTAD, ROTTERDAM – In a letter dated November 10, 2015 and presented to the President of Parliament, Monique Koeyers-Felida resigns as a Member of the Curaçao Parliament. Koeyers-Felida has been in the Netherlands for some time now due to medical reasons.
The MP’s main reason is health, but also the current political development on the island. She believes that it is prudent now to dedicate all her time to her health instead of all the problems facing the public sector in Curaçao.
According to the MP she is satisfied with her contribution to the island and looks back to a time where she defended those in need. She also thanked the people of Curaçao for their support.
