WILLEMSTAD – The epidemiology department reports that out of 2303 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus this week, 505 of them were positive. This is equal to a positivity rate of 21.9% and an average of 72 new cases per day. 419 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 624.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 2 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 1 of them is in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital.

The total number of COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 276.
