Winair to service Curaçao and Haiti | Daily Herald

PHILLIPSBURG, St Maarten — Effective June 3, 2017, Winair, the national carrier of St Maarten, will commence flights to Haiti and Curacao.

These flights will be operated by Winair twice a week, on Tuesday and Saturday. Flight routing, operated by a MD-82 will be Curacao – St. Maarten – Haiti – St. Maarten – Curacao.

With this, Winair will offer convenient and fast jet service from Curacao to St Maarten and will be the only airline serving St Maarten – Haiti – St Maarten.

These flights are now available in the computer reservation systems and can be booked through any travel agency or booking website.

“For the past several months we received many calls from customers who are frustrated with the current air transportation options to Curacao and Haiti. Therefore, Winair has opted to enter into those markets to assist with the travel demands within the region. The flights will connect with Winair’s extensive Caribbean route network,” said Michael Cleaver, president and CEO of Winair.

  1. Je hebt gelijk Winair 2x per week maar Insel vliegt 2x per dag naar Sint Maarten. Ik denk niet dat er veel aanvraag is om dagelijks naar Haïti te vliegen.

  2. These flights will be operated by Winair twice a week, on Tuesday and Saturday.

Enri, Ik lees hier toch twice a week. Niet Twice a day!

  3. Niet nodig. Insel vliegt twee keer per dag ‘s ochtends en ‘s middags en 7 dagen in de week naar Sint Maarten. En…. tegenwoordig (bijna) altijd prima op tijd.
