THE HAGUE – A date has still not been set for a Kingdom Conference, and it will definitely not be held this year.
According to the response from State Secretary Van Huffelen to the report of the latest Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation, the aim is now to schedule it for the first quarter of 2024.
“For the overall organization, a committee called the ‘Kingdom Conference Committee’ is being established. In the short term, the committee will propose a definitive date for the conference, which will be determined through joint consultation. In the meantime, the committee is taking initial steps in defining the content of the conference,” writes Van Huffelen.
