ORANJESTAD, WILLEMSTAD – After an Aruban company requested the bankruptcy of Insel Air Aruba a week ago, this same company will request the bankruptcy of InselAir International tomorrow.
This is according to a report from the Aruban news site NoticiaCla.com.
In Aruba the court gave InselAir Aruba bankruptcy protection until June 7 of this year. NoticiaCla also reported on this earlier. According to NoticiaCla, it is not known if the court in Curaçao will allow this. The same lawyers and Aruban company will be in Curaçao tomorrow for the case. There are indications that the court will take the same route as their Aruban counterpart, thus to give the airline bankruptcy protection. The court can also order the airline to pay its debt or declare it bankrupt.
