There are sacred sex groups, which are including all sex techniques mentioned in the Kama Sutra, building themselves up towards the apex of sensuality (probably forgetting that we have to go to Divine bliss). I don’t see at all the sacredness in those dynamic energetic experiences. They could have called it, Higher Awareness Sex. Persons become more aware of the strong energies in the body even without practicing sexual intercourse.
I consider this kind of Sacred Sex as a psychological valve of release. It is is an emotional expression without intellectual or spiritual control, releasing pent-up frustrations and very good transformation technique for a greater communication between persons. But it is not a spiritual or sacred technique.
The question will be: If it is a relief valve, then why not use it? The person who is always using emergency measures to meet life’s challenges is asking for more severe problems. There is only one way to meet life with its many growth experiences and that is with spiritual understanding.
Sacred Sex for me has nothing to do with the penis/vagina/anus cultus but with the Energy resource within body and soul, it has to do with the Shakti, the Kundalini dimension within us. It has to do with the Sanctum sanctorum, the realm of the consciousness of our Source.
In real Sacred Sex the aim is to attain oneness within God consciousness and nothing else than that. Even Divine bliss isn’ t considered as its aim. Divine bliss is considered as part of the totality of landmarks within the sphere of Divine Consciousness. Sacred Sex is not an easy way. A great problem for those humans, who want to attain sanctity is to distinguish the difference between the physical orgasm and the spiritual orgasm
There exist prescriptions for those who got kundalini-awakening to avoid being thrown back into the lusts of sexuality. Gueu Bhagawan Rayneesh, afterwards known as Osho, did not give a damn about this difference. Also other reknowed gurus ended up in the Kama Sutra-style of kundalini awakening instead of being established in Cosmic Love.

Had Hendrik Schotte zijn zoon Gerrit deze wijze leefmethode geleerd vroeger dan is hij nu nog steeds met de vrouw met wie hij getrouwd is.

Maar wartaal stukjes? Volstrekt onduidelijk wat de oude Schotte bedoelt. Jammer dat hij zijn sex vroeger niet beperkt heeft tot de ‘spirituele’ vorm, dan hadden we nu geen last gehad van zijn criminele zoon.
