Initially, when the suitcase was detected, the airport police attempted to find the owner of the suitcase. When the owner couldn’t be found in the Arrivals Hall and surroundings, the security procedure for the safety of passengers and airport users was initiated.

The Arrivals Hall and all exits were evacuated. After the Police Force declared the suitcase and area as safe, the operations at the Arrivals Hall were resumed without significant delay. The person that had forgotten his suitcase was subsequently located.
