
WILLEMSTAD – Minister Steven Martina of Economic Development and the Aruban Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and Culture Xiomara Ruiz-Maduro of Aruba will be part of a trade mission to Colombia.
The two ministers will travel with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, the Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Carola Schouten and Minister Bruno Bruins of Medical Care, Welfare and Sports. This trip will take place from November 25 to 29.
Hans de Boer, chairman VNO-NCW, is the business leader for this trade mission to which companies and knowledge institutions from the sectors Agribusiness & Horticulture, Life Sciences & Health, Water & Logistics and Bicycle Mobility can participate.
Following the trade mission to Colombia, Prime Minister Rutte will travel to Buenos Aires where he will be present at the G20 summit on 30 November and 1 December. The Netherlands participates in this summit at the invitation of the present chairman of Argentina.
The G20 is an informal forum in which government leaders from the largest global economies discuss various topics such as financial stability and economic growth and development.
