WILLEMSTAD – The construction of the Mega Pier 2 in Otrabanda, Willemstad is progressing well. It is expected that the construction works will be finished in November this year. This means that the pier can be operational in less than two months.
Unfortunately, the development around the area has not progressed as well. Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) and the government could have used to momentum to develop a boulevard in this area.
According to the morning newspaper Extra, they know that there are plans to develop this area. The construction of the mega pier 2 was a great opportunity to this.
