WILLEMSTAD – Last week CMU said farewell to 45 students who have completed their preliminary education towards becoming a physician.
They came to Curaçao from all over the world, although primarily from the USA, to start a career in medicine. They have completed 32 different courses, divided into 3 trimesters of 14 weeks each for the pre-medical (PM) program, followed by 4 medical (MD) trimesters, starting with basic biology, physics and chemistry through Pathology and Physical Diagnosis in the MD program.
Now these students will have to take the licensing exam in the USA and complete 6 clinical semesters in CMU-affiliated hospitals in the United States. CMU wishes them success in their future career.
Qualified local students who are interested in studying medicine are encouraged to contact us via: info@cmumed.org or admissions@cmumed.org
